Winter Lantern Making
November 17, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm£3.50 - £5
Come along to our final Four Seasons session of 2018 with lots more hammering for our Winter Lantern Making workshop.
During the session we’ll be creating our designs and then using hammers and nails to pierce holes in the tin cans and create some lovely glowing effects to take home and use over the darker months.
Using tools for young children is a great deal of fun and it also allows them to build strength and co-ordination and help them develop their fine and gross motor skills.
This workshop will have a limited number of spaces to allow staff plenty of time to work with each child to create their piece. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
We will also have all our usual woodland fun set up including:
*Tree Rope Ladder
And we’ll be finishing this session with some chocolate S’mores cooking over the fire. Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch to this session to eat around the fire before the S’mores if they would like.
Please note, this session will run from 11-1pm and is aimed at children from 6-12 years of age. Children are welcome to come accompanied or parents can attend but will need to purchase a ticket also as numbers are limited. The workshop is fun for all involved!
The session will be held in the Biggar Little Quarry woods (ML12 6NP). Sessions may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions, full refunds will be given.
Our ticket link is currently experiencing technical issues. If you would like to book tickets please use the email firstname.lastname@example.org on your personal paypal page or email the same address for bank transfer details. Thank you for your patience.
