Willow Kite Making Workshop

During our March Four Seasons session we will be making Willow Kites using recycled newspapers.
This is a really fun workshop with some simple tool use, cutting down the willow to size and using a variety of different knots including slip knots and square lashing to secure the kites.
Children will get to decorate their kites will pens and ribbons for a tale.
As well as our activity we’ll have all our usual woodland fun including:
And we’ll be rounding off this session with fruit tea’s and cookies. As this is a 2 hour session children are more than welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat around the fire during the session.

We require 48 hours for cancellations to be given refunds. We will always offer a space at a future workshop as an alternative.
The session will be held in the Biggar Little Quarry woods (ML12 6NP). If the weather is looking too cold or windy to run the session we will try and make arrangements in a local hall to run the session as a craft session or we will reschedule. Full refunds will be given if you are unable to attend the rescheduled session.
