Welcome to 2019!
To start off this amazing year we’re advertising our programme of exciting events aimed at women who would like to connect more deeply with nature and learn some valuable bush craft skills along the way.
This year we will be running a series of 5 workshops, each one will stand alone in its content but the sessions work as a programme offering a progression of skills and knowledge as the year unfolds. Over the year we will be covering the following topics:
- Green woodworking projects
- Bush craft skills
- Environment/Nature knowledge
- Open fire cooking
- Nature Crafts
- Survival shelter building
….and lots more!
Our first session will take place on Saturday 30th March where we will welcome the group and offer a range of activities including making Bees Wax Wraps over an open fire, whittling some simple animals from branches and making warm spiced apple drink over the fire.
For these workshops we are offering a block booking opportunity of all 5 sessions or workshops can be purchased individually.

These sessions will take place at the Carmichael Estate Nr Lanark, ML12 6PF. We will meet outside the shop an tearooms 5 mins before the session begins to walk down to your woodland base together. Sessions may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions but alternative dates or a full refund will be given.
