Tools 4 Kids
February 5, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm£24 - £36
Welcome to the second set of 4 workshops to help children gain confidence and enjoyment working with tools and wood.
Over the four weeks, we will work on more exciting projects where children will design, create and build their toys using a variety of tools, supervised by qualified, level 3, Forest Schools Leaders.
Working with tools is a highly rewarding experience for young children, helping them gain valuable fine motor skills and improving hand and eye co-ordination. With careful tutoring, children can complete simple, wood working projects giving them a sense of achievement and helping boost confidence.
These workshops are open for children ages 5-12 years of age and will take place inside at the British Legion Hall on South Back Road.
We have a maximum number of 16 children for these sessions, so places are very limited. Please book quickly to secure a place.
Tickets are purchased as a block booking and work out as £9 (£6 concessions) per session, this includes all materials for the making of the toys and the use of the hall.
